At Cwtch Dental Care in North Cardiff, we offer a range of orthodontic treatments with fixed braces to straighten even some of the most crooked teeth.  We have many options available and tailor each treatment precisely to what suits your needs best.  You can choose between metal or tooth coloured, ceramic brackets with colour-matched wires depending on how subtle you would like them to be. 

Dr Sarah can also offer removable and functional appliances which can be useful for children’s growing mouths when we want to start treating things as soon as possible (since fixed braces usually go on once all the adult teeth have come in, these alternatives can be useful until then).  With convenient appointment times and free on-site parking, it really couldn’t be easier to get great teeth for you or your children.

How do I get straight teeth with Fixed Braces?

  • First; book a braces assessment appointment online or call 02922671858 to speak to a member of the team at Cwtch. We have evening appointments to fit around your work schedule! 
  • At your assessment appointment our dentist will give your teeth a thorough once-over and take measurements, 3D digital scans and photographs of the problems. 
  • You will discuss your concerns, priorities and ask any questions you may have then it is over to our team and Invisalign to do some planning.

What happens after the assessment?

  • After your fitting appointment, we simply see you every 6-8 weeks for a short appointment to change the wires. 
  • The wires are constantly applying a tiny amount of pressure onto specific areas of your teeth to gradually push them into the right positions.
  • Most patients would have straighter teeth in 6-24 months of treatment with ClearSmile. Although our dentist Dr Sarah will be able to advise you in better detail.
